Role - Teacher of History
Location - Medway
Start Date - September 2025 - full time
Salary - £31,650 - £49,084 depending on experience
Tradewind Recruitment are actively searching for an enthusiastic Teacher of History for an Ofsted graded 'Good' school in the Medway area. The role is a September start and will be until the end of the academic year - July 2026! The role will be full time with a salary of between £31,650 and £49,084 depending on experience.
The role:
- Create and deliver lesson plans across KS3 and KS4 ensuring all abilities and needs are met
- Foster a deep appreciation for History and its relevance to the modern world
- Track and monitor progress to ensure all students reach their full potential
- Work collaboratively with colleagues within the History Department and across the wider school
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Teacher of History across KS3 and KS4
- Excellent behaviour management
- Strong communication skills
- Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
- Legal right to work in the UK
