Our client, a respected Freight Forwarder based in Kent, is seeking an experienced Import Ocean Freight Operator.
The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of experience in Imports and a background in Freight Forwarding, Shipping, or Logistics.
Key responsibilities include managing imports from deep sea countries, liaising with customers and overseas agents, and preparing import documentation.
Strong customer service skills, computer literacy, and good geographical knowledge are essential for this role.

Our client, a respected Freight Forwarder based in Kent is seeking an experienced Import Ocean Freight Operator. This role will suit someone with 1 -2 years experience within Imports, a 2nd jobber looking for a new and exciting opportunity to enhance their career. The main duties will be:

Imports from Deep Sea Countries
Liaison with customers and overseas agents
Booking deliveries with carriers and hauliers
Preparation of Import Documentation
FCL and LCL Imports

Must have experience of Imports and a background within Freight Forwarding, Shipping and/or Logistics. Strong customer service skills and be computer literate. Good Geographical knowledge and a good understanding of handling Import shipments from start to finish. Must have the ability to build lasting and profitable relationships with both clients and sub-contractors and be able to demonstrate and understanding of their clients and customers needs by providing effective solutions. Motivated and be self sufficient. Excellent opportunity for the right candidate.
