The Role

As a Social Worker in the Connected Carers Team, you will play a pivotal role in:

  • Supporting children placed with connected carers and providing tailored support to carers.
  • Completing a range of high-quality assessments, including Special Guardianship, Viability, and Connected Carers assessments, adhering to statutory deadlines.
  • Presenting reports at court and fostering panels, providing clear and evidence-based recommendations.
  • Working directly with children and carers to understand their needs and deliver effective support plans.
  • Leading multi-agency meetings and collaborating with partners to ensure the best outcomes for children.

This role involves working closely with families facing complex challenges such as mental health, domestic abuse, and substance misuse, ensuring all interventions are strengths-based and solution-focused.
