Quality Governance Facilitator | KIMS Hospital, Maidstone

Full Time Permanent | 37.5 hours per week

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm

Are you an experienced administrator with knowledge of clinical governance and looking for a new challenge?

If so, we have a rare and exciting opportunity at KIMS Hospital to join our Quality, Governance and Patient Safety team as our Quality Governance Facilitator.  KIMS Hospital is the largest independent hospital in Kent.

As the Quality Governance Facilitator, you will support the Head of Quality, Governance and Patient Safety, ensuring the hospital operates in line with the Health and Social Care Act and all related legislation and standards.  In this role you will need to be patient focussed and able to communication and engage with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels

Role Responsibilities include:

  • Administrate and collate data required for reporting, compliance and regulation
  • Administrate and collate data via InPhase and other systems to compile monthly/quarterly governance reports
  • Support training for staff on quality and governance systems and governance processes where required
  • Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, consultants and KIMS staff to ensure information, updates, news bulletins and reports are received in a timely way
  • Manage the Safety Alerts and NICE Guidelines to ensure these are reviewed and actioned
  • Working with key stakeholders to ensure Policies/SOPs are reviewed regularly and any new policies/SOPs are developed in accordance with local/national guidance
  • Meeting facilitation and diary management

Essential

  • GCSE’s or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Excellent written, IT and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to accurately record and produce meeting minutes
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst remaining focused
  • Experience/ knowledge of clinical governance systems and processes
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office

Desirable

  • NVQ Qualification in Business Administration
  • After action review training or experience
