We are seeking dedicated Social Workers to join a team focused on safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families.About the RoleAs a Social Worker, you’ll manage a caseload of varying complexity. From assessments and care planning to court reports and multi-agency collaboration, your work will have a direct impact on children and families. You’ll be supported every step of the way, with a clear framework for professional development.What You'll Do:
  • Handle a diverse caseload of Children & Families cases, including complex assessments and care plans.
  • Work in line with statutory guidance and local policies for Looked After Children, Children in Need, and Child Protection.
  • Collaborate with families, carers, and partner agencies to deliver tailored support and positive outcomes.
  • Prepare high-quality reports for court proceedings and key meetings.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in line with organisational standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with legislation, policies, and best practices to inform your work.
About You:Qualifications:
  • Degree in Social Work (or equivalent qualification).
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Completion of the ASYE (if qualified for more than two years).
Experience:
  • Relevant post-qualification experience in Children & Families social work.
  • Familiarity with systemic models of practice, such as Signs of Safety.
Skills & Abilities:
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and professionals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for assessments and reports.
  • Ability to prioritise, work autonomously, and thrive in a team environment.
