About the Role
As a Social Worker, youll manage a caseload of varying complexity. From assessments and care planning to court reports and multi-agency collaboration, your work will have a direct impact on children and families. Youll be supported every step of the way, with a clear framework for professional development.


What You'll Do:
Handle a diverse caseload of Children & Families cases, including complex assessments and care plans.Work in line with statutory guidance and local policies for Looked After Children, Children in Need, and Child Protection.
Collaborate with families, carers, and partner agencies to deliver tailored support and positive outcomes.
Prepare high-quality reports for court proceedings and key meetings.
Maintain accurate and timely records in line with organisational standards.
Stay up-to-date with legislation, policies, and best practices to inform your work.

About You:
Qualifications:
Degree in Social Work (or equivalent qualification).
Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Completion of the ASYE (if qualified for more than two years).

Experience:
Relevant post-qualification experience in Children & Families social work.
Familiarity with systemic models of practice, such as Signs of Safety.

Skills & Abilities:
Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and professionals.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for assessments and reports.
Ability to prioritise, work autonomously, and thrive in a team environment.
Knowledge of family court proceedings, child development theories, and safeguarding frameworks.
