We support more than 5,000 people living in sheltered and supported housing or their own homes. We are passionate about our staff and believe in caring for them in the same ways we care about our service users.

We offer housing-related support to young adults aged 16 - 24 living in our supported accommodation schemes in Kent and floating support in the community. Our Younger People's Service is looking for a Support Officer to join our dynamic team in Medway on a fixed-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced support officer who enjoys a varied role.

In this varied and dynamic role, you'll empower the people we support to have active and fulfilling lives aligned with their needs and aspirations. You'll need to evidence an understanding of the issues facing Young People and be committed to supporting them to develop their confidence and maximise their independence.

A major part of your role will be to take a person-centred and therapeutic approach to help young people overcome their challenges, creating programmes and helping them gain the help and skills they need to become positive and successful members of their local community.

You'll be passionate about making a genuine difference in the lives of Young People staying positive and seeing the best in Young People.
