Time Plan are working with a thriving and inclusive learning community dedicated to providing excellent education and fostering a positive environment for both students and staff. We are currently seeking a Cover Supervisor / Unqualifed Teacher to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and confident in leading a classroom independently when the regular teacher is unavailable.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver pre-set lesson plans and effectively manage the classroom in the absence of the class teacher.
- Ensure a positive and conducive learning environment where students are motivated and engaged.
- Maintain control of the classroom, addressing any behavioral issues in line with the school's policies.
- Provide support and guidance to students to help them stay on task with the lesson objectives.
- Work collaboratively with other teaching staff and support staff to ensure a smooth running of the school day.
- Carry out any other duties as required to support the smooth operation of the school.
- Previous experience as a cover supervisor, teaching assistant, or in an educational setting is preferred.
- A strong, confident presence in the classroom with the ability to manage student behaviour effectively.
- Ability to follow and deliver lesson plans prepared by the class teacher.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with both students and staff.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work across various subject areas and year groups.
- A proactive attitude with a genuine interest in education and the learning process.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., a degree or teaching qualification).
