Prospero Teaching are working with SEMH School based in Kent who are seeking passionate and resilient behaviour mentors to join their team. The school offers education to primary and secondary students who cannot attend mainstream school due to their challenging behaviour and maybe other additional needs. The school are seeking behaviour mentors who can be flexible through the school, the successful candidate will be working within the classrooms, which is up to 6 students. Working 1:1 and within small groups, you will be given a class/child you are based with but at times will be expected to work in other classrooms supporting throughout the school. If you have a passion and are skilled in sports, music, art or other interests, this can be welcomed into the role.

Even if your experience is informal/voluntary, I want to hear from you! The children you will support will have a variety of needs, which can include significant complex behaviour challenges and sometimes associated SEND.

SEMH Learning Support Assistant requirements:

? Experience of working with young people with SEND and/or Autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties and learning difficulties or experience with SEMH, Trauma, Sensory processing, social communication

? Teaching Assistant / Learning Mentor / Youth Worker experience

? Ability to build solid and meaning relationships

? A passion for working is essential
