Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students with special educational needs.
• Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to meet students’ specific learning needs.
• Support students with additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
• Encourage student engagement and independence in a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to ensure holistic support for students.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is highly desirable.
• A patient, adaptable, and caring approach to supporting children with diverse needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to use creative strategies to engage and motivate students.
• A valid driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle is essential due to the location of the school.
