Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students with special educational needs.
• Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate individual learning styles and abilities.
• Create a supportive and structured learning environment that promotes confidence and independence.
• Work collaboratively with SENCOs, teaching assistants, and external professionals to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and adapting learning plans accordingly.
• Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and staff to ensure a consistent and supportive approach.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant SEN teaching experience.
• Proven experience working as an SEN Teacher or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of SEN strategies and differentiated teaching approaches.
• A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A valid driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle is essential due to the location of the school.
