Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students with special educational needs.
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate individual learning styles and abilities.
- Create a supportive and structured learning environment that promotes confidence and independence.
- Work collaboratively with SENCOs, teaching assistants, and external professionals to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and adapting learning plans accordingly.
- Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and staff to ensure a consistent and supportive approach.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant SEN teaching experience.
- Proven experience working as an SEN Teacher or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of SEN strategies and differentiated teaching approaches.
- A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A valid driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle is essential due to the location of the school.
