About the role:
As a SEN Teacher, you will create engaging lessons that align with the curriculum for the students with special needs and prepare them for success in their studies and future academic goals. This is a fantastic opportunity to empower young minds and help them thrive.

Responsibilities of the SEN Teacher:

  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
  • Deliver high-quality, differentiated instruction to students with SEN.
  • Work closely with classroom teachers to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Provide support and guidance to Teachers and other staff working with SEN students.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about student progress and needs.
  • Stay informed about current best practices and developments in special education.

Requirements of the SEN Teacher:

  • Holding QTS is mandatory.
  • A Bachelor or Master's degree in any field.
  • Prior experience as a SEN Teacher is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
