Are you a skilled and compassionate Speech and Language Therapist looking to make a real difference in the lives of children?
Our education agency is currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join a well-established school in Maidstone, Kent. The role offers an exciting opportunity to work with children in a supportive and dynamic environment, making a lasting impact on their communication and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapy for children with speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Developing individualized therapy plans and working closely with teaching staff to implement them effectively.
  • Supporting students with speech and language difficulties in both group and one-on-one sessions.
  • Offering expert advice and training to school staff to enhance the provision for children with communication difficulties.
  • Liaising with parents and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to the students' development.
  • Keeping accurate records and reports for each student, ensuring compliance with legal and safeguarding requirements.

Requirements:

  • A recognized qualification in Speech and Language Therapy (BSc or MSc).
  • HCPC registration and membership with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
  • Previous experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with staff, parents, and external agencies.
  • A compassionate and patient approach, with the ability to adapt to the diverse needs of students.
