The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for proposing & implementing solutions to improve forecast accuracy by analysing historical data, market trends, customer information & commercial insights. Equally, to build both Long term and Short term forecasts to ensure product availability.

Description

  • Responsible for a team of two, managing one Supply Planner & one Supply Chain administrator.
  • Take the lead on forecasting in conjunction with the Commercial Team.
  • Hold regular reviews & analyse data accordingly.
  • Interface with customer planning functions to obtain data to assist with building forecasts and relationships.
  • Ensure compliance in line with HMRC regulations for all Supply Chain transactions.
  • Use Budget/Forecast data to regularly review site capacity.
  • Build & maintain a 12 month rolling forecast.
  • Help drive continuous improvement both within the Supply Chain Team & wider business.
  • Manage obsolete & slow moving stock to mitigate potential write offs.

Profile

  • +5 years' experience in Forecasting & Demand Planning.
  • Background in the FMCG industry or Manufacturing.
  • Advanced level in Excel.
  • Experience managing or supervising a small team.
  • Good understanding of the S&OP process.
  • Good stakeholder management and collaboration.
