Diamond Search Recruitment are working with a well-establish and innovative manufacturing company based in Maidstone, Kent and assisting them in the hire of their new Technical Representative to join their successful team.Our client maintains a team of in-house technical specialists and 4 Technical Representatives covering the UK, and these are further supported by an extensive network of overseas Subsidiary Companies. A position is available to join the export sales team to initially grow the Gulf region territory with several trips annually to Saudi Arabia and UAE.There is no cold calling involved!!This is a full time and permanent, office based role. Working hours are 37.5 hours per week, 8.30am-5pm.The role focuses on:

• Maintaining and growing key accounts and distributors.
• Following up leads generated by the company’s marketing activities and prospecting for new business, especially on core products.
• Providing in-depth technical support to identify and solve customer problems.
• Present our client professionally to maintain market leading image & reputation.

The successful candidate:

• Will possess a technical aptitude.
• Will enjoy working within a product sales environment.
• Will be articulate and professional.
• Shall have excellent written English skills.
• Degree educated in a relevant industry shall be advantageous.
