- A degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in technical sales within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Strong technical knowledge of engineering products and solutions
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- A proactive and customer-focused approach
- Ability to understand and present complex technical solutions
- Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel as required
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities within the target market
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, providing technical support and advice
- Preparing and delivering technical presentations to clients
- Creating tailored proposals and quotations to meet customer requirements
- Collaborating with internal teams, including design and production, to ensure customer satisfaction
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities
- Achieving sales targets and contributing to the overall business strategy
- Attending industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to promote the company’s products and services
