Do you have experience within the Travel / Corporate Travel Industry? Are you based out in Kent and looking for an exciting local opportunity?

We are assisting an up-and-coming travel agent specialising in corporate and high-end luxury travel who are looking for a hungry and dynamic salesperson / account manager that is looking to take the next step in their career.

Role and responsibilities:

Your role will initially consist of learning how to manage the itineraries of the travellers of busy PA's, EA's and travel bookers over the initial 3-6 weeks of your employment - you will be shown you what they do, how they do it and help you learn the skills you need. You will gain your clients from the company, but you will also be responsible for using your time to source leads to gain new clientele for which you will also be given support and guidance. This role will occasionally be demanding and require you to work outside of normal office hours (to book a last-minute flight for a client, for example) so experience with this type of role will be an advantage. You will be responsible for ensuring all travel plans are seamlessly and accurately booked.

What will you achieve in your next 12 months with this company?

* You will work with the directors and sales staff gain a good understanding of the travel industry, how to manage a client base and make seamless business travel itineraries.* Gain a good understanding of airlines, routing and world air travel.* Learn the systems, methods and suppliers that make the travel industry run.* Ensure all your clients travel needs are met.* Learn how to build a large client base in the travel industry and smash through your sales targets.

Key requirements:

* Experience of achieving outstanding results in a sales environment.* Able to converse with professionals across all industries as part of the role, until you gain a client base your role will involve outbound selling and networking.* Excellent attention to detail and ability to problem solve.* Any experience in a travel sales environment, using GDS Galileo is an advantage, but not necessary.

Package:

Salary: £21,000 - £30,000 + Industry leading uncapped commission structure. Average salary including commission for our sales team is in excess of £65,000 PA.
