Vehicle Technician - Independent Garage - Maidstone Area
Salary: 25,000 to 50,000 (Dependent on Experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week, No Weekends

Alecto Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a well-established independent garage located in the Maidstone area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled technician looking to work in a professional, customer-focused environment with no weekend work!

Responsibilities:

Carrying out vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repairs to a wide range of makes and models.
Performing MOT testing and ensuring all vehicles are inspected to the highest standard.
Identifying and resolving mechanical issues efficiently and effectively.
Providing accurate documentation of the work carried out and keeping up-to-date with job records.
Offering excellent customer service and professional advice to ensure customer satisfaction.
Ensuring all health and safety guidelines are adhered to within the workshop.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician in a busy workshop environment (essential).
Level 2 or 3 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification.
Strong diagnostic skills and experience using diagnostic tools.
A valid UK driving licence.
MOT licence (desirable but not essential).
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
