Construction TutorTemporary - Immediate StartBased in Maidstone, Kent£150.00 - £200.00 p/day

Are you an experienced and knowledgeable construction professional looking to share your expertise with the next generation? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! The role will be based in a College in the Maidstone area and has options for full or part time employment.  Candidates who can start immediately will be highly sought after as will those with prior experience teaching the subject to students aged 14 - 18.  This role would be perfect for an experienced teacher, tutor, or current vocational lead teacher.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, learner-focused vocational training in a well-equipped workshop. You will teach a multi-trades course covering carpentry, plumbing, electrics, and brickwork. You will have access to good facilities and resources and teach engaged and enthusiastic students.

 There is free parking on site and some flexibility in working hours / days for the right candidate.

To qualify for this Construction Tutor Role in Maidstone, you will need:

  • Candidates must have a strong background in the field of construction, with practical knowledge and experience in the industry.
  • Experience in teaching/ leading, especially in the context of construction education, is highly desirable. Candidates should have the ability to express their knowledge to students effectively.
  • Ability to work with groups of students of secondary age (14 – 18)
