Class sizes are small, typically between 8-10 learners, ensuring personalised attention and meaningful progress for each student.Key Responsibilities of the Functional Skills Tutor:• Deliver high-quality Functional Skills teaching in Maths and English from Entry Level to Level 2.• Create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that supports and motivates all learners.• Build supportive relationships with learners, fostering trust and engagement.• Plan and deliver lessons that enable learners to achieve their academic and personal goals.• Communicate effectively with parents to keep them informed of learner progress.• Promote inclusivity and celebrate diversity within the classroom.• Ensure learners achieve strong outcomes and are prepared for their next steps.What We’re Looking For in the Functional Skills Tutor:• Ideally, QTLS status or a Level 3 teaching qualification or be prepared to work towards this.
