Contract Personnel are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Maldon, Essex who are looking for an experienced Construction Service Technician to join their team on a permanent basis.

Reporting directly to the Construction Service Manager, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of all equipment associated with Construction machinery (but not limited to) that is sold by the company's sales department. You will be working with brands such as Hyundai, Twaites, Bomag and many more. You will be given direct access to the manufactures for support and training, as well as the benefit of working with our own experienced team members.

Your experience/qualities will include:

? Sound knowledge of or experience within the Construction or Agricultural industry (advantageous)

? Ability to diagnose hydraulic and electrical faults using latest software and successfully carry out repairs which may be chargeable, warrantable or internal type jobs.

? Lifting of heavy machinery, applying common sense to items that require the assistance of special tools

? Has the ability to work alone and as part of a team

? Able to work under pressure and to customer demands, including long hours and weekend cover (rota based)

? Excellent communication skills

? Competent in the use of computers

? Maintain a good general level of health and fitness

? Excellent customer service skills as this is a customer facing role

? Full clean driver's licence

? Be self-motivated

Pay Rate

Competitive, dependent on experience plus company vehicle and mobile phone

Shifts/Hours

?39 hours per week - 8am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday and 8am to 4pm Friday (1 hour unpaid lunch)

Overtime paid at time and a half on completion of 39 hours Monday to Friday.

Sundays or Bank Holidays will be paid at double time
