Our client is a well established and thriving construction company based in the Maldon, Essex area. They specialise in the maintenance and repair of properties and are currently searching for an experienced administrator. The ideal candidate would be someone who wishes to join a thriving organisation. The role offers a strong career progression for ambitious individuals. The role will be predominantly office based.

ROLE:

  • Managing incoming calls and directing to the necessary departments / individual.
  • Manage the senior managers diary and paperwork
  • Efficiently process a variety of administrative requests, from data entry to file management, supporting departmental needs.
  • Organise and maintain office spaces and systems, including document management and archiving, ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and room bookings.
  • Issue of labour schedules on a daily and weekly basis
  • Handle mail and email correspondence, ensuring timely and accurate distribution and response.
  • Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary.

CANDIDATE:

  • Previous experience within a construction, civil engineering, maintenance or engineering background is desired but not essential
  • Strong background within company administration essential.
  • Steady work history is desired.
  • Computer literacy with experience of Word and Excel is essential.
  • Experience of data entry and document control is desired.
  • Must have own transport as the office is difficult to access on public transport.
  • Willing to work in the office from Monday to Friday.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Very effective planning and organisational skills.
