Working for a well-known engineering company based near Maldon, you will travel around their customer sites in Essex performing a range of duties. The company offers a range of benefits, such as health insurance, an enhanced pension scheme, a company van and more.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Panel building / wiring various control panels
- Performing electrical repairs and installation work to the highest standard in line with all required regulations and codes of practice
- Carrying out repairs and maintenance on a diverse range of industrial electrical systems
- Installing electrical systems using a full range of installation materials and techniques
- Routine checking and testing of all types of electrical systems, including the location and repair of faults.
This is just a summed-up list of responsibilities and other duties will be required.
Skills and Experience required:
- Up-to-date electrical qualifications including 18th edition wiring regulations
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as an electrician within an industrial environment
- An understanding of wiring diagrams and electrical drawings
- Experience of panel building and working with variable speed drives preferred
- UK Driving licence.
