We are pleased to be working with a prestigious food manufacturing based in the outskirts of Maldon, Essex.
Applicants need to be aware this role will involve lots of physical duties.
This role is a PERMANENT opportunity with the first 3 months working through Prime Appointments.
Own transport required due to location
Duties of the Factory Operative:
- Operating of factory machinery
- Visual quality checking of product
- Working to SOPs and site processes
- Completion of paperwork
- Use of pallet truck and pump truck
- Set up of production machinery
- Undertaking heavy, physical factory duties
- Take reasonable and practical care of personal health and safety and of others
Hours and Pay:
- 6:30 am to 12:30 pm, 5 days a week which could include weekends
- Shifts are subject to change in future
- 16.00ph

The Ideal Factory Operative:
- Previous experience in Manufacturing and Production
- Able to undertake manual handling tasks
- Valid counterbalance forklift an advantage
- Own transport required
- Flexibility and willingness to work overtime
- Flexible approach to working days (able to work shifts if required)
