Production Operative

Location: Outskirts of Maldon, Essex

Shift time: 6:00am - 16:30pm

Days: Monday - Friday (weekend and overtime available)

Pay rate: £11.44 per hour/ Weekly pay

Duration: Temporary to Permanent position

We are working with a large, fast growing manufacture who are looking for dedicated individuals to join their team!

Job Specification:

  • Working within a team to plan and carry out consistent quality checks.
  • Operating machinery in a safe and sensible manner.
  • Ensure all daily check sheets are complete at the start of the day and reporting any issues to line manager.
  • Test all deliveries to ensure the visual specifications are complete.
  • Follow recipes to ensure the correct ingredients are added into mix.
  • Accountable for using the correct measurements and products available.
  • Reporting any concerns to your team manager.
  • Obtain stock sheets from the office weekly to know what is to be used.
  • Wash down floor space.
  • Keep area tidy at all times.

Key Person Specification:

  • Computer literate.
  • Must drive and have own Vehicle.
  • Team player at all times.
  • A knowledge of the food & safety standards will be advantageous.
  • Experience working within a production team will be ideal.
  • Happy with overtime.
  • Comfortable working in a cold-store as-well as a cooking room.
