Production Operator - Day Shift

Location: Maldon

Hours: 12-hour Shifts (6am - 6pm) around 38.5 hour per week (Continental shift pattern 2,3,2 which will include weekends)

Salary: £24,500 (depending on experience)

Adecco are excited to be working alongside their client based in Maldon, who are looking to hire a production Operator to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

This role will be line based and includes all the standard responsibilities of an Operator of a production line: Responsible for the operations and safety of the assigned production line and personnel, under limited supervision from the shift supervisors, with the ability to follow a plan and meet targets.

* Line is mostly automated, being able to operate computer software is essential - training is provided

* Operate the machinery

* Accurately complete daily update for the line

* Planning ahead for product changes

* Keeping line organized and tidy at all times

* Responsible for updating visual management boards hourly and on shift handovers.

* Operating a forklift to bring in materials needed and also taking out completed products to warehouse.

* Quality checks on products as well as filling in data into the quality system after checks are done.

The Successful candidate will have:

? Good IT skills

? IT will involve running and changing programs on the machine.

? Includes an element of physical work, so must be physically fit.

? Needs to have operated a machine before

? Motivated and positive self-starter and willingness to learn are essential

? Physical elements involved (Lifting, pushing) etc.

? Forklift license is desirable but not essential
