Goods In Operative

Prime Appointments are currently recruiting for a Goods In Operative in Maldon, Essex. This is for a successful independent business who are experts in medical industry, supplying small component parts.

This role is a direct permanent position if successful.

Duties of Goods In Operative:

• Processing all returned products
• Quality checking items, assessing damage or wear and tear and reporting to supervisor or other team members
• Counting stock and returning any unused items to warehouse
• Completing all relevant paperwork and entering details onto in house computer system
• Restocking required items
• Working alongside multiple departments including sales, administration and quality teams
• Ensure all returns / complaints are logged correctly in line with company regulations
• Returning items to correct area in warehouse for future picking
  
  

The ideal Goods In Operative:

• Previous goods in / dispatch experience within a busy manufacturing or supply chain environment
• Critical thinking ability and a proactive approach to problem solving
• Strong communication skills
• Happy to work within a small team
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel

Hours & Pay:

• Monday - Friday
• Full-Time
• 08:00 - 17:00
• Pay up to 25,000pa
