Assure Personnel are pleased to be working with a fantastic client of ours based on the outskirts of Maldon, working within the Supply Chain team, this role is pivotal within the company and would suit somebody with a strong administrative background, who loves working with numbers and is highly organised!

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Creating purchase forecasts and stock forecasts for a portfolio of products and suppliers, ensuring service levels are maintained.
  • Recommending changes and managing stock profiles, max/minimum stock positions, buffer stocks and EOQ calculations.
  • Proactively managing purchase orders with suppliers, ensuring business parameters are followed.
  • Reviewing slow-moving, excess and obsolete stock and identifying products for clearance whilst managing trigger points.
  • Collaborating with the Operations team to ensure all deliveries are pre-booked and compliant.
  • Ensuring monthly budget spend is adhered to in all currencies and expediting orders with suppliers.
