We are delighted to be assisting our valued client in finding a highly efficient Administrator to contribute to their dynamic purchasing department on a maternity contract until December 2025. Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Highlight any errors and take necessary action to resolve them promptly.
- Undertake ad-hoc duties to meet the requirements of the supplier accounts and ensure smooth operations.
- Deliver on departmental and Key Performance Indicators related to assigned supplier accounts.
- Identify areas for improvement and proactively escalate suggestions to optimise processes and performance.
- Ensure timely and effective communication of information to all stakeholders.
- Display professionalism and appropriate behaviour when interacting with managers, colleagues, and suppliers.
About you:
- You possess excellent communication skills and can confidently engage with suppliers and colleagues in a polite and professional manner.
- Ability to adhere to deadlines and company guidelines, demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with particular emphasis on Excel and Word.
- You have a keen eye for detail and can maintain accuracy with numbers and data.
- Excellent organisational skills, enabling you to efficiently multitask and prioritise workloads.
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- You are confident, proactive, and not afraid to show initiative.
- Your attention to detail sets you apart and enables you to produce high-quality work consistently.
