Specifications Technologist / 聽Technical Administrator
12 month Maternity cover starting October/November - This role could suit a Food Science Graduate聽Malmesbury 聽 Mon - Friday - Days 拢30k+ DOE聽 This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and successful award-winning supplier of FMCG products in a Specifications Technologist / NPD technologist role based near Malmesbury.聽 It is a 12 month maternity cover, but could potentially lead to a long term role聽聽 The primary role of the Specifications technologist / Technical NPD technologist will be to work with suppliers and internal cross functional teams to ensure required food safety, quality and legal standards are maintained through detailed specifications. 聽You will facilitate the NPD / EPD process from raw material approval though to product launch. 聽This role reports direct into the Technical Manager.
The Specifications Technologist role will also require the successful individual to:聽 路Ensure the site technical systems are in place for obtaining and maintaining specifications 路Maintain the supplier database and supplier audit information 路To be on top of labelling policies 路Liaise with Raw material suppliers 路Review and approve Packaging and artwork 路Ensure that the specs are reviewed and monitored 路Ensure Risk assessments of Raw Materials are carried out 路Carry out internal audits of site systems and procedures ensuring follow up of any corrective actions 路Request accreditation certificates and reports from suppliers
Specifications Technologist Key skills required路Experience of customer Specification systems 聽 路HACCP Knowledge 路Previous food / drink / pharma experience 路Excellent attention to detail 路Good computer skills 路Self motivated 路Good communication skills
This role is suitable for a candidate that may have previously worked as a Spec Tech, New Product Development, NPD specifications, Food Techjnologist, Technical Administrator, Technical Assistant, QA聽
This role is commutable Bristol, Chippenham, Tetbury, Cirencester, Castle Coombe, Bath and surrounding areas
