About The Role
A broad role which requires a fine balance of financial and stakeholder management, the Finance Manager will report to a Head of Finance, and directly manage a team of 3 junior members of staff.
The Finance Manager will liaise with key stakeholders in the company, reporting on divisional performance, rolling cashflows, and supporting in the planning of key strategic decisions.
Core competencies include:
- Oversee cashflows, monthly and quarterly management reporting, and financial controls.
- Maintain accurate cashflow forecasts and support strategic cash management decision making.
- Manage liquidity and FX requirements.
- Attend key stakeholder meetings, including presentations to senior management.
- Review of VAT returns and other tax compliance duties.
- Coordinate and oversee preparation of statutory accounts.
- Review and support preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Ensure clear financial controls and maintenance of financial records.
- Supporting continuous improvement projects and respond to ad hoc queries.

The candidate must be fully qualified in either ACCA / ACA / ICAEW or CIMA, ideally experienced in a small-medium business environment (whether industry or practice). It is also crucial that you have direct team management responsibilities.
