The Role:We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Allocator to join our Merchandising team. Based at our Basecamp in Kemble, this hybrid role requires three days in the office each week. As an Allocator, you’ll play a key part in ensuring stores are stocked efficiently to maximize sales and minimize excess inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Allocate stock to stores based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and seasonal trends.
- Collaborate with Merchandising and Retail teams to refine sales forecasts and respond to changing demands.
- Monitor stock levels to prevent out-of-stock or overstock situations.
- Analyze sales data and customer trends to inform allocation decisions.
- Utilize stock management systems to track product performance and provide actionable insights.
- Address stock discrepancies, resolve issues, and suggest process improvements.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in stock management and allocation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
- A proactive approach to managing priorities and meeting deadlines.
