An 'Outstanding' Primary School in Malmesbury is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support a student with ASD within a KS2 Class.

This role is an ASAP start running through until the end of the academic year. Working hours are 8:30-3:30, Monday - Friday, Term time only.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working as a Learning Support Assistant, a passionate, 'can do' attitude and the ability to hit the ground running. There will be opportunities for the successful candidate to become a permanent member of staff from September 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to a student with SEN.
  • Assist in implementing educational plans tailored to the student’s needs.
  • Foster a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with SEN as a Learning Support Assistant is essential.
  • Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and a patient, compassionate approach.
