MERJE are supporting a regional Building Society in their search for a Treasury Reporting Accountant. You will be joining the team for an 18 month period covering the current placeholder who will be seconded to a project.

Your new role:

The Treasury Reporting Accountant is responsible for preparing Treasury ALM reporting for ALCo and for assisting with completing the smaller regulatory returns, in accordance with the appropriate accounting, statutory and regulatory requirements.

To undertake cashflow and funding forecasting and monitoring and assist with derivative dealing on behalf of the Society in line with the policies laid out in the Boardā€™s Financial Risk Management Policy (ā€œFRMPā€).

To assist in the production of monthly Management Accounts, particularly credit losses and key performance MI, whilst maintaining robust systems and controls.

To ensure the regulatory software (currently ALMIS) is updated on a monthly basis.

Hybrid working options are available with an expectation to travel to Lancashire and work on site when required
