Working for this local employer of choice, the part-time Personal Assistant will be based within an exceptional working environment. The part-time Personal Assistant will provide full PA support, working within a small, close-knit team. This is a genuine opportunity to join one of the area’s most prestigious employers. You will be proactive, positive and flexible in your approach, as the role will involve prioritising and adapting your daily tasks. The part-time Personal Assistant will need to pass a credit check and DBS check. Due to the rural location, you will need your own transport and a full driving licence.

Salary: £30,700 pro rata (£18,432 for 21 hours)

Hours of Work: 21 hours a week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 9am - 5pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure all secretarial and administration requirements are completed on a day-to-day basis
  • Undertake the researching, booking and logistics of travel requirements, creating suitable itineraries and documents to assist all travel plans
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing mail (both paper and electronic) promptly; opening, prioritising, distributing and action accordingly
  • Prepare letters, papers and general documentation including typing and responding to standard correspondence
  • Arrange the renewals of a variety of licences, memberships, subscriptions and any necessary visas
  • Manage and maintain meeting room spaces, including the setting up of rooms, conference calls, refreshments and any meeting specific requirements, including the clearing and setting up of the room
  • Complete expense claim forms, credit card statements and receipts for the team, liaising with the Finance department for onward reconciliation. Raise quotes and invoices for purchases and administer with the Finance department
  • To file and complete general records and database management tasks
  • Prepare for, attend meetings and take minutes as requested
  • To support the visitors to the office and coordinate any travel or accommodation plans as appropriate
  • Undertake preparations for seasonal events and logistics
  • Continually develop and maintain an accurate and efficient filing system
  • To continually review stocks and supplies of all office products and order replacements as required

  • Previous experience as a Personal Assistant is essential
