Techniche Global is supporting a global Engineering organisation in appointing an experienced Administrator to join their team in Malton, Yorkshire.   The role will be supporting various Administration duties with multiple project teams within the business. This will include scheduling, planning, tracking, report running, documentation, coordination with vendors/suppliers/customers etc. The delivery of such activities is crucial as it will require the implementation of administrative systems, procedures and policies that will assist in the efficient operation of the Company.Duties and Responsibilities of the Administrator:
  • Greet and assist visitors, notifying staff of arrivals.
  • Book and coordinate meetings, including customer lunches.
  • Provide general administrative and business support.
  • Maintain and update records in IFS and MIS systems.
  • Manage manual and electronic filing systems, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare Commercial Invoices and Packing Lists for exports.
  • Coordinate shipping logistics, including obtaining quotes, arranging couriers, and acquiring necessary documents.
  • Maintain shipping records and collaborate with the global logistics team.
  • Manage and log project-related documentation, ensuring timely transmittals and version control.
  • Support project teams with manufacturing record books (MRB) and document archiving.
  • Update database records in ERP and maintenance systems.
  • Coordinate with the Buyer and COE for quotes, purchase requisitions, and part creation.
  • Maintain accurate purchase and goods receipt records.
  • Promote compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental procedures, including training and emergency protocols.

The assignment is long term, initially on a 6 month contract. There is also the possibility that the role may become permanent staff in the future or extend initially by a further 12 months. The role is full time office based, 5 days a week at the Malton Office in Yorkshire.
