Location: Malton, North Yorkshire
Type: Maternity Cover
Salary: 26,000 - 32,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: 08:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday
Our prestigious client, based in the charming town of Malton, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join their esteemed team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a vibrant environment, ensuring the smooth operation of the credit control function.
Credit Controller Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the sales ledger, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts.
- Conduct credit checks on new customers and set credit limits.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare regular reports on credit control activities and debtor status.
- Liaise with internal departments to resolve queries and disputes.
- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining positive relationships with clients.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage aged debtors.
- Implement and maintain credit control policies and procedures.
- Assist in month-end closing activities.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required.
To be considered for the Credit Controller position you must have;
- Proven experience in credit control or a similar financial role.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- SAP experience would be advantageous
