Seeking a generalist HR Advisor working for a Family business of approx 150 employees reporting into the HR Business Partner supporting with all areas of HR across the business including manufacturing, logistics and Head Office.

Our client is a family owned business with a strong brand delivering fantastic product and services in their niche field based in North Yorkshire (Malton).

Description

  • Provide HR advice and guidance to employees and managers in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Support and facilitate staff training and development initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Oversee recruitment and selection processes to ensure they are fair and effective.
  • Manage employee relations issues such as grievances and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal requirements.
  • Support and advise on performance management processes.
  • Participate in the design and delivery of employee engagement initiatives.

Profile

A successful HR Advisor should have:

  • A degree in Human Resources or related field - desirable
  • Solid knowledge of Employee Relations, HR functions and best practices.
  • Excellent ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
  • Experience with HR software and HR metrics.
  • Strong ethical standards and a high level of personal integrity.
