About the Role

As the Technical Manager, you will ensure our food safety and quality systems meet and exceed customer and legal standards. You will work closely with our operations team to implement robust processes, lead audits, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This is a pivotal role for a driven professional ready to make an impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and enhance food safety standards for the Primary function of the factory.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and external agencies.
  • Ensure readiness for customer and authority audits.
  • Develop and monitor robust technical systems to support business changes.
  • Ensure supplier and product specifications align with customer requirements.
  • Drive skills development programs across the site to elevate quality standards.
  • Lead the Quality team in root cause analysis and implement preventative measures.
  • Promote a culture of quality through effective communication across the site.

What We’re Looking For

  • A graduate in Food Science/Technology or a related field.
  • Strong experience in technical systems, standards, and management within manufacturing.
  • Proven expertise in operations, supply chain management, logistics, planning, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience managing change at a senior level.
  • Demonstrated success in team leadership and key capital project management.
