Position: Night Shift Hygiene Operative
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Salary: 12.95 per hour
OWN TRANSPORT ESSENTIAL DUE TO LOCATION AND WORKING HOURS
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of equipment, production areas, and facilities according to established standards and protocols.
- Follow strict hygiene practices to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Handle cleaning chemicals responsibly, adhering to proper handling and storage procedures.
- Assist in dismantling, cleaning, and reassembling production equipment as necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
- Collaborate with the production team to maintain smooth operations and minimize downtime.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding health and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and report any issues or deviations to the supervisor.
- Previous experience in a similar hygiene or cleaning role, preferably within a food manufacturing environment, is advantageous.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and chemical handling procedures.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work night shifts on a consistent basis.
