The Role:We are seeking a Business Development Executive to join our dynamic team to drive sustainable growth and profitability for Balens by identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, supporting the expansion of service delivery, and delivering innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.Responsibilities: 
  • Manage a pipeline of opportunities from prospect stage to sale, with the support of the wider Balens team.
  • Deliver new, and maintain existing, introducer and partner relationships.
  • Provide support across the wider Balens team to ensure successful conversion of opportunity.
  • Be a key member of our Events team, delivering workshops, presentations, networking and engaging with attendees, exhibitors, and partners.
  • Work collaboratively with our Compliance and Agency teams to ensure all regulatory components of relationship management are achieved.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance lead generation, opportunity conversion and penetration rates.
  • Collaborate with the Balens team to identify and address customer concerns.
  • Resolve incidents promptly and Implement improvements based on incident analysis.
  • Identify opportunities for individual and team development, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring you are compliant in terms of regulatory requirements.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring compliance is embedded in your work.
Experience:
  • Proven experience in a sales focused role.
  • Demonstrated success in lead acquisition and conversion. 
  • Experience in managing client relationships with multiple stake holders. 
  • Track record of implementing successful customer retention & conversion strategies.
  • Understanding of commercial insurance 
  • Knowledge of performance reporting and KPI management.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Negotiation and influencing.
