We're looking to take on aCNC Turner Setter Operator totake up an important role inour machine shop where just a small group of skilled engineers carry outcritical machining projects, producing high value, geometrically complex metal component parts to tight tolerances for customers operating in high-tech industry.

This is no ordinary CNC Machinist job. If you are a CNC Turner Setter Operator looking to use your skills to producehigh-value, complex component parts, working witha very capable, encouraging group of skilled engineers, then this might be just the job for you.
Your duties will include amongst other things
- Setting up and operating CNC single spindle lathes and twin spindle mill/turn lathes with powered tooling (if you have experience with mill/turn machines, then great. If not, we will be happy to offer all the trainingyou need)
- Understand programs and fault find when needed (Fanuc control panels)
- Checking the accuracy of your work against engineering drawings using conventional measuring equipment
- Keeping your area clean and tidy
- Plus any associated duties as required

Essential requirement for this job:CNC turning or CNC mill/turn experience
Working hours:37 hour working week, Day shift with a lunchtime finish every Friday.
Pay rate:We're looking topay between £15 and £17 per hour depending on your skill level and experience.Please do get in touch to let us know your salary requirements.
