A company providing installation and maintenance services to commercial and industrial businesses across the UK is seeking an Installations Supervisor to join their team. Experiencing continued growth, they aim to strengthen their workforce and reduce reliance on sub-contractors.

A competitive basic salary of up to £45k (dep on exp) is offered, along with health insurance, pension, company car, and other benefits.

The Installations Supervisor will oversee and coordinate installation projects at various job sites, ensuring timely completion within budget and in compliance with company standards and client expectations. Working a 40-hour week, you will have the autonomy to manage your schedule and decide where you need to be throughout the week. This role involves a mix of office and site-based work, driving to sites to supervise a team of dedicated engineers, with occasional overnight stays as required. With 80% of installations being commutable, a healthy work-life balance is achievable.


Installations Supervisor responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, coordinating and overseeing on-site installation projects from start to finish.
  • Supervising installation teams, ensuring quality workmanship and adhere to health & safety standards.
  • Communicating with clients, contractors and company stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the installation process.
  • Ensuring projects meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Conducting site inspections to assess project progress and compliance.


Skills required for suitable Installations Supervisors include:

  • Proven experience in installation management, project management, or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical documents.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
  • Comfortable working and staying away from home.
  • Comfortable working nights when required.
  • Valid driving license.
  • CSCS card needed to work on site.
