- The successful candidate will manage a team of 3 staff, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the department.
- They will report directly to the Directors and be responsible for preparing 13 sets of year-end accounts to Trial Balance.
- This role will involve maintaining personal account records, handling Self-Assessments, and working closely with external Accountants.
- The Accounts Manager will manage financial processes, including loan and mortgage schedules, assets and liabilities, and sales/purchase ledgers.
- Key duties also include overseeing payroll for up to 80 employees, ensuring accurate pension submissions, and managing staff holidays.
- Additional responsibilities include VAT returns, PAYE submissions, and maintaining accurate records on Xero and BrightPay.
- The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an Accounts Manager role or similar, with strong knowledge of payroll, VAT, and HMRC regulations.
- They will possess excellent leadership and organisational skills to manage both financial processes and team development.
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero and BrightPay is highly desirable.
- Competitive salary ranging from £27,000 to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
