Your new companyYou will be joining a manufacturing and supply business near Malvern in Worcestershire, for a permanent job as a Sales Administrator. This is a key function in the sales and operations function, and is a full-time job, working Monday to Friday in the office with an experienced team.

Your new role

  • Receiving and processing customer orders.
  • Pricing orders and raising invoices.
  • Handling customer queries, including any complaints and progress of orders.
  • Close liaison with the factory to ensure that customer delivery requests are achievable and met on time.
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Filing and ordering of stationery.
  • Organising and booking third party transport.
  • Preparing customer price lists and updating the Sage system.
  • Raising purchase orders for various materials.
  • Communicating the daily delivery schedule to customers.
  • Booking of hire drivers and temporary vehicles.
  • Supporting the Sales/Marketing Director.
  • Any other duties requested by the Office Manager, Sales Director or General Manager.

What you'll need to succeed

This role will suit someone who has proven experience in administration, particularly sales administration, and can confidently work in a high-volume and fast-paced environment. Key skills required are:

  • Sage Line 50 experience would be ideal.
  • Manufacturing sector background ideally.
  • A confident team player, especially in a small team.Highly organised and proactive, able to use their own initiative and willing to go the extra mile.
  • Strong Microsoft Office capabilities, including experience in Excel.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
