Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Conveyancing Secretary to support our busy conveyancing team on an immediate temp basis with the opportunity to go permanent. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our conveyancing processes, providing administrative support, and liaising with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist conveyancers with administrative tasks, including preparing and managing legal documents.
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, and solicitors to facilitate the conveyancing process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files.
- Schedule appointments and manage diaries for conveyancers.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience as a secretary or administrative assistant, preferably in a legal or conveyancing environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with conveyancing software.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
