Skills/Experience:

  • This a temporary role to help with long waiting lists for providing energy management therapy for people with ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Long COVID.
  • We do not expect you to have experience within the ME/CFS speciality as training will be provided.
  • Experience of working with chronic health conditions and/or chronic fatigue is desirable.
  • Experience of working with patients who are stuck and feel as though they are unable to make changes also desirable.
  • To offer brief (6 sessions) interventions for energy management, e.g. activity baselines, pacing, rest breaks, relaxation, sleep hygiene, and goal setting
  • Contribute the skills, knowledge and performance of the OT team
