Your new companyHays have a great opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join a family-owned business in Malvern. Your new role

  • Organise and collate primary worksheets for processing.
  • Ensure that all worksheets are available in a timely fashion.
  • Review and process worksheets onto payroll system.
  • Analyse pay data to ensure payroll costs are within expected ranges.
  • Collate and report team by team payroll cost and report back to relevant manager so performance can be reviewed and monitored.
  • Production of payroll KPI's.
  • Liaise with employees to deal with payroll queries.
  • Filing and archiving of core payroll data.
  • Assist Finance Manager with the processing of fortnightly payroll.
  • Assist Finance Manager with other financial administration tasks.
  • Administrative tasks to support the wider team

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous payroll experience. Knowledge of PAYE processes, Tax Code and HMRC filing requirements
  • The candidate will need to be confident, proactive, reliable, & self-motivate
  • Working knowledge Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • General computer literacy
  • Previous experience of using payroll systems
  • Good team player
  • Perform all tasks with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
