The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance on compressed air equipment at customer sites, covering North including Manchester, Nottingham, Sheffield, Leeds, Liverpool and surrounding areas.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Compressor Engineer will ideally have a service experience in the compressed air industry or strong electromechanical experience in air filtration with F Gas certification, pneumatics, nitrogen generators, compressed air pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, refrigeration, HVAC or similar transferable products related to compressed air. Full product training provided.

- To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of compressed air equipment at customer sites covering North including Manchester, Nottingham, Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool and surrounding areas.
- The Compressor Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of compressed air systems, refrigeration systems, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators and other compressed air and downstream products.
- Maintain, repair and install air compressors, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators and other compressed air and pneumatic equipment.
- Installing compressed air/water & nitrogen pipelines into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
- Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various compressed air equipment.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
- Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical / mechanical engineering systems, ideally compressed air related products.
- Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / M&E Engineer or similar within compressed air.
- The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
- Good working knowledge of three phase electrics and controls is advantageous.
- Service experience in the compressed air industry or strong electromechanical experience in filtration, nitrogen generators, compressed air pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, pneumatics, refrigeration, HVAC or similar transferable products related to compressed air. Full product training provided.
- A technical engineering degree, apprentice trained or F Gas certification would be advantageous.
- Willingness to travel and cover the North UK - Nottingham, Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool and surrounding areas.
