Coffee Shop Manager (Full-Time or Partnership Opportunity)

Location: Near Deansgate and Salford Central Train Station, Manchester

Company Overview: We are opening an exciting, independent coffee shop near Deansgate and Salford Central train station, and we're looking for a passionate and experienced Coffee Shop Manager to join us from the very start. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in the setup, operation, and growth of a new venture. Job Opportunities:

  1. Full-Time Coffee Shop Manager: Take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the coffee shop.
  2. Partnership Opportunity: For experienced candidates who are passionate about coffee and business, we are open to a partnership, offering a stake in the coffee shop's future success.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the initial setup of the coffee shop, including interior design, equipment selection, and supplier coordination.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the coffee shop, including staff management, inventory, ordering, and scheduling.
  • Create and maintain a high standard of service, ensuring a welcoming and warm atmosphere for customers.
  • Develop operational processes to ensure smooth and efficient running of the shop.
  • Train and manage staff to maintain top-tier customer service and product quality.
  • Help shape the shop's branding and marketing efforts to attract customers and grow a loyal base.
  • Manage financials, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability strategies.
  • Roasting Experience: Ideally, the candidate will have experience in roasting coffee beans or knowledge about the roasting process. This will allow us to roast our own coffee in-house, offering customers a unique, high-quality experience as we aim to grow into a speciality coffee shop.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing or working in a coffee shop or café, with an understanding of operations.
  • A strong passion for coffee, especially speciality coffee, with knowledge of roasting processes highly desirable.
